London Clothier Firm Member
I am a member of the firm of Smith, Brown, and Robinson, wholesale clothiers, of Cheapside, London. I arrived in town last week, and purpose remaining here until the 15th instant. My principals have already forwarded to me a large consignment of goods, for sale at the ensuing Midsummer fair. The orders given to the manufacturers amount to several thousand pounds; and preparations are making for a great gathering of buyers from all parts of the kingdom. The business will probably last a fortnight, and then I shall have to report progress. In the meantime, I shall be glad to see you. The counting-house will be open from ten to twelve o'clock, on the morning of the 5th of June. Farewell.
