Thomas Smith
I am Thomas Smith, and I live in London, but at present I am in Scotland. I was born in 1810, and am therefore twenty-five years old. But I have not been idle. I have spent part of my life in France, and part in Germany; but I have never been in Italy. I have lived in London till now, and intend to remain here for the present; but I purpose to visit Scotland in the first instance. I have never been married, but I intend to remain single. I have hitherto followed no profession, but purpose to become a soldier.
