Commercial premises in Cheapside
I am part of a great commercial establishment in Cheapside, London. The premises in which I am contained comprise an extensive range of warehouses, and a counting-house. The warehouses are well and handsomely fitted up, and the whole presents an appearance of great business and activity. I am situated in the very heart of the commercial portion of the city, and can boast of having had some of the most eminent men in the city for my companions. In days gone by, I formed part of the establishment occupied by the celebrated Whittington, and, subsequently, I was portion of the premises long held by Thomas Gresham. In more modern times, I have been part of the establishment of Messrs. Thomas and William Row, and, at present, I am concerned in the business of Messrs. Thomas and James
