German Pedestrian And Bird
Fatigue and exposure, I think, must have rendered me unconscious, for I must have remained in a state of privation and fatigue for several hours. I am a German, and a great traveller. I have gone through Germany, France, and Belgium, in the character of a pedestrian, and have now walked sixty miles without thinking of fatigue. I am going further still, and am determined to walk to the end of Britain, if I can. I am a man of great endurance, and can go through any thing. I am a great deal longer than I am at present thought to be, but I can go further still. I am a bird of long continuance.
Describes a German who travels on foot and claims long endurance, ending by identifying as a long-lived bird.
