I am a member of the Royal Society of London, and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, and I have practised as a medical practitioner in London for thirty years. I am also a member of the Scientific Committee of the Royal Agricultural Society, and have been a contributor to the Transactions of the Society, and to other publications, on subjects connected with the health of the human and other animals. I am a member of the Sanitary Committee of the Royal Institution, and have delivered lectures on the same subject. I am a member of the Health of the Deliberation Committee, and have contributed to the proceedings of that body.
