Bedded Londoner rather than a vagabond
I am a member of the human race, a native of Great Britain, and a resident of London. I am a stratus, or a bedded, not a vagabond, member of society. I am a stratus, because I have a fixed place of abode, and because I am not a member of the great army of vagabratage, which has no domicile. I am a Londoner, because I was born in the capital, and have never lived anywhere else. I am a man, because a structure, which is animated, and which has structure, is a man.
Geological strata become social membership and a fixed London address; the metaphor develops coherently before a circular definition of man.
