Westminster barrister
I am a member of the legal profession, and a practitioner in the courts of Westminster Hall. I was called to the bar in Michaelmas Term, 1840, and have ever since been steadily, though slowly, advancing in my career. At present, I am content to rank as a junior, and am willing to wait, until length of standing shall entitle me to a more conspicuous position. My chambers are in Quality Court, Chancery Lane. I go the Home Circuit, and attend the Surrey Sessions. My age is thirty, and I am a bachelor.
The speaker describes a legal career at Westminster courts, his circuits, chambers, age, and bachelor status.
