Bell-crank handle beneath the street + Little drop of water
A boy who dreams of a great house
I am a little boy, nine years old. I live in London, and am learning to read and write. At present I can only spell easy words. My father works hard all day, at the trade of a shoemaker, and my mother sits at home, and watches me. In the summer evenings, I go to walk in the pleasant fields, and come home again to supper. In winter, I warm myself beside the fire, at home. I love best to hear talk of ships and sailing, and soldiers and battles. My ambition is to become a great man, and I shall be content to live in a great house, at the upper end of the parish, and so I shall be able to see far from me, along the road, up to London.
At equal 0.625× the reply is a boy who wants to become a great man. Holding the bell-crank at 0.625× and raising water to 0.875× yields a speckled hen. Reverse those unequal factors and the reply becomes a component of a steam vessel. This is a change in balance, not merely an increase in total factor.
