Colonial sugar-cane grower + Laughing gas
Man made entirely of gases
I feel very badly, chiefly Oxford gasetted, and colonial and foreign gases, and also some hydrogen. I am all gas, in fact. My foreign and colonial gas is chiefly Australian, and I am afraid I shall never be able to use that kind of gas again. I am also a good deal of gas from other kinds of air, chiefly domestic. My own native air of common or atmospheric gas, seems to have grown quite strange to me. The gas I feel most is chiefly laughing gas, which I shall never again have any need to use, except laughing at myself and my own want of power to give future effects of colonial and foreign air. I shall never again have any use for hydrogen, but must remain all my life long at my own gas, which at present is most unpleasant
