I am a little boy, nine years old. I live in London, and go to an excellent school, where I am learning to read and write. My father is dead, but my mother is alive, and very kind to me. She sews for a dressmaker, and I carry the work home to her every evening. I am happy, and have no wish to be anything else than what I am.
